Weeks of Tourism in Central AK
The past few weeks have been spent around Fairbanks. We’ve worked at the campground, business has been busy working on people’s RVs. One local shop called the ALCAN the million dollar highway from all the stuff it breaks. There have been lots of calls for slides and suspensions. Slow down and watch for frost heaves. Enough about work, on to touristy things. We’ve done a few more excursions in Fairbanks the past few weeks. We regrouped after Valdez and leave again soon for another Alaska road-trip. As for food, I think we’ve tried almost all of the food options in our area. Salty’s on second had a great breakfast, Frozen Smoke at Lat 65 brewing has great burgers, House of Fire and East Ramp have the best pizza and Pagoda has good Chinese food.
