On The Road

 Hello all,

We are currently having a cup of coffee in the trailer in Weed, CA.  We ended up leaving a day early as there was snow in the forecast.  We hit a bit of it on the way here, but nothing really stuck to the road.  We had 13.5 years in Oregon and feel like we did a good job exploring the state.  At this time, we do not have a return date in mind.  Katy and I have always highlighted the roads we have been down together in our old road atlas.  This picture shows the roads and highways we have traveled.

I just looked at the calendar and we have officially been trailer/RV living for 81 nights (closing in on the van life from 17').  The Sisters Garden RV park was a great place to stay, nice grounds and amazing staff.    On a side note, I guess we did have 3 nights in a motel while waiting to pick up the new trailer.  We are headed for the Napa Valley later this morning.

If you are following us on this blog, please leave a comment.  We are new to this...hopefully we can attach a few pics.

    1. Thanks for checking in Fran. We made it to Napa today, it’s been raining off and on. We hope all is well. I also added a few photos.

  2. The Friendly RV Park in Weed was an ok park for a quick stopover. It is wedged between the railroad tracks and a truck stop...if you’ve been “there” you know what we mean.
