Yesterday was a pretty chill day. We went to old town Cottonwood and ate brunch at the Colt Grill. Their logo is two Colt Peacemakers pointed at each other.
Katy enjoyed their Brisket Benedict and I had Brisket hash with roasted poblano peppers. It was great. We then took a ride up to and tooled around Sedona for a bit.
Upon returning to the campground we unhooked the bikes for a ride to Alcantarra Winery. The winery is really close as the crow flies, but 1.5 miles away by car or bike. Half of that being steep uphill from each side to start. The bike rack failed us and caused a bit of damage to my bike. We need to take it in to see if I need a new bike. It made the trip, but I was afraid it would break.
The wine was good, the setting was nice and we didn’t buy any bottles because of the bike ride back. We may go pick up two though.
We ended the day with a 5 mile walk around the campground and had chili for dinner.
