Laundry Tourism
Well we decided to take a drive to Prescott to do laundry yesterday. The drive up the 89 behind Jerome was breathtaking and capped at over 7,000’. Beautiful drive with a 30mph speed limit as it’s very curvy. I also planted our Christmas tree along the way...not sure it’ll make it.
We went to Park Plaza Liquor and Deli as it was recommended by Steve Areeno and we were not disappointed. I had the Elly burger and Katy had a raspberry turkey club. Both great choices. I had my first hard cider of our trip and yep...just like I was told, I’m allergic to apples/cider.
We did three loads of laundry and then stopped at a shoe store in a real old school shopping mall. Only a 1/3 of the stores were open and we were two of 40 people in the mall. Businesses are being crushed and it’s sad. We drove the 69/169/17 back instead of the winding road and it was a lot faster.
We did a 5 mile walk with the kids to end the day.
