Verde Valley...We Have Arrived

Yesterday morning we slow rolled our exit from Ehrenberg.  We had some coffee and then got after some chores.  5 loads of laundry with our bedding.  Dumped and rinsed our tanks, chatted with the Wiles’ and left at noon.

The 3.5 hour drive to Thousand Trails Verde Valley went smoothly.  We mostly took back road state highways vs the interstates.  We got into the campground a little after 4 and found an end spot right away.  The set up process went really well and we were treated with a nice sunset walk with the kids.  This is the nicest TT park we have stayed in and are going to extend a few days.

We were told it would likely get down to 30 and asked to keep the water line outside dripping all night.  I instead hooked up our heated hose and wrapped the joints and filter with extra pipe insulation.  Good thing...it was 23* this morning.  And we had a nice sunrise.  Off for a walk through the park and out to explore.
