Streets of Water
Yesterday we hung out at the park all day. We had coffee and breakfast, walked the dogs and worked out. The morning weather was cool and foggy. It was pretty humid.
We continued to walk the kids until a little later in the day and as the sun started to peak out, we put the boats in. There is a great launch right at the campground. We then paddles up 6 waterways or streets for boats. Round trip was 3.35 miles and a few hours. We got a nice picture of home from the water.
We saw a lot of nice boats, some nice houses and then the opposite of that. Some places appear abandoned after the hurricane last summer. My new boat is pictured above...I think it would make a nice Christmas present maybe combined with a birthday present. 30’ CC with 600hp of outboards on it.
When we got back, we walked the dogs and played. Few games of sequence and cribbage. We also got our comfy chairs out and watched our neighbors fish. Time to buy some fishing gear for us. The afternoon turned out beautiful with temps in the high 70s and little breeze. Bacon burger and pasty veggies for dinner.
