Repairs and paddles

Yesterday we worked on fixing the trailer up.  We had to replace the guides for the busted drawer and replace the leaky faucet.  The drawer guides went really easy and it’s nice to have a working drawer again.  Looking back through pictures, it’s been broken since Corpus Christi.  The faucet has leaked since AZ.

I thought I’d have to do the faucet through the open drawers, but I don’t have long enough arms nor am I double jointed.  After looking things over, I had to take the fire extinguisher and it’s holder out of the wall.  From there I was able to reach up and get everything unhooked.  It’s nice to have those things taken care of.  Katy also organized under the bed and put up a coat hook.  Under the bed is/was a big project...it winds up that we just put things in there wherever they’ll fit with no rhyme or reason.  Now it looks way better.

After all that fun, we had lunch in and headed for the lake.  Another two mile paddle and we found a piece of lakefront property near #1.  Someone has put a lot of work into it and it has its own boat launch.  It also has a great view.

Nice relaxing day overall.  We haven’t had too many days where we haven’t left in the vehicle to explore.  What does the red swirly thing on the 10 day forecast mean?
