Campground Day

Yesterday we just hung around the trailer and did some cleaning in the morning.  Coffee overlooking the ocean first.  I installed our new bike rack from Stromberg Carlson in Michigan and hope it’s the fix we need.

We chatted quite a bit with our neighbors Jeff and Gabi from New York and Steve with the other 2075 came by too.  He’s from Pennsylvania and tows with a van.  He reminds me of Jerry Garcia.

We swung over to the SS Wreck restaurant which is really close to our campground.  The food was pretty good, the key lime pie was really good.  One slice is more than enough for two people.  We also returned the shade sail we bought.  We took a quick detour into Curry Hammock State park, but didn’t get to see the campground as it is gated.  Bonus for security.

Upon our arrival, Duncan had screwed up several of our blinds and pee’d on the floor.  Guess we need to make sure they get a good leak out before we leave, even if it’s only 1.5 hours.

The afternoon at the park was really nice.  We saw a Pod of dolphins and a manatee swam through the swim area.  The sunset was beautiful and there were no clouds.  I think this is the first time I’ve seen the Green Flash.
