Saint Mary’s GA
We’ve been staying at Crooked River State Park. It’s a beautiful park in GA. The sites are big and really well kept. We walked the dogs about 5 miles yesterday, did a workout and headed for town.
We walked around Saint Mary’s after making a few Amazon returns and finding Katy a pair of replacement sunglasses. Costa makes some nice shades. The town is really cute and we walked for a bit on the waterfront. This is where the Cumberland Island Ferry crosses.
We had lunch at the Riverfront Cafe. Katy loved the crab cakes, my Cod fish and chips were marginal. The elderly gentleman behind us had the smarts to ask if the fish was fresh or frozen. It was frozen. I will ask this from now on.
We got back to the campground took a few more walks and relaxed. We did a little reading, put two types of bug spray on for the no see ums and did some reading. All in all a great day. Off to Savannah today.
