Bike Ride

We rode over 13 miles yesterday.  There is a great bike path from the campground into town and along the boardwalk.  Once at the boardwalk, there is a dedicated bike path.  The beach was a little busier, but still not bad and it was great for people watching.  There was a bit of bike path that was closed and being repaired.  We pulled up on the boardwalk along with some others and got yelled at by a guy looking like a very blonde Jesus.  “BIKEPATH”!  I said, thank you and we kept going.

We stopped at a few points along the way.  The VB Law Enforcement Memorial and the Navy Seal Memorial.  We also stopped by the boardwalk to take a picture.  It looks a little wavy and may need some work.  We had lunch at Mahi’s and it was really good, right along the water.  We found a credit card on the bike path and were able to get it VBPD.

The ride was really fun and our longest of the trip so far.  Not the fastest due to the traffic, but a great ride.  We got back at about 2:30 and got in on the 50/50 raffle at the park and planned the rest of July.  Due to some reservation site issues, we have to make some calls today.  I think Kayaking is on the menu today.
