Boring.

We had a slow day yesterday.  Dumped tanks, cleaned the rig and did 4 loads of laundry.  We left at 11:50 with a noon checkout.  We were sent off by 4 Navy Super Stallions.  They were low enough to disturb the trees.  They also came through too quickly to get the camera out.

Our drive to Williamsburg was about an hour and twenty minutes and was mostly interstate.  It was pretty uneventful.  The Hampton VA tunnel was cool though.  Someone asked us if we stopped and had our tanks inspected.  Honestly, I didn’t even think our three tanks would be an issue.  We drove right by the inspection area.  I didn’t notice any other RVs there…

We arrived at our new campground and were issued a back in site after I assured the worker that I could back our trailer up. We found our site and there was a Grand Design Imagine in it.  “Somebody’s sleeping in my bed”.  We ended up with a nice pull thru site instead so it all worked out.  We got set up and walked the dogs multiple times.

We were also able to book the last few days of our summer.  This is not how we had been doing things up until about two weeks ago.  We had been getting by with booking a week in advance.  With school getting out and the number of people on the road, we are now booked until September 7th in Ohio, on our way to Maine.

Maggie has taken up residence on my side of the bed near my nightstand fan.  She puts her face by the fan and can be found there most of the time when we are inside.  Off to explore Jamestown and Yorktown today.
