Back to Nash

Yesterday we walked, worked out, talked to a few other campers and hung out til about 1.  We took the shuttle back to the city.  It was 90* and we walked to Martin’s BBQ by the CMHOF.  The food was amazing and you can immediately get served if you sit at the bar.  Katy had the smoked turkey Redneck Taco and I had the brisket tacos.  Amazing, 10/10.  We highly recommend this place.

After our late lunch, we walked towards Broadway and up on the pedestrian bridge for a picture or six.  It was HOT.  We then went down to Jason Aldeans, the music was really good on the top floor so we hung out for a bit.  We stopped at the Lucky Bastard too, the music was good but it was so loud.  We didn’t stick around too long.

After a couple hours and a few stops, we decided to catch and early bus back.  We got the kids out and cooked some smash burgers on the black stone.  I think they turned out pretty good, but I’m still getting used to cooking on a cast griddle.  I also re seasoned it after cleaning it.  I’ll get used to it.

I headed back to the pool and hot tub.  It was really busy, lots of kids running around.  I was asked about our travels while talking with a few folks and had some decent conversations.  I do want to reiterate this one thing after some of those talks.  We are not rich.

Today will be laundry and regroup day as we are leaving tomorrow.
