So Ha
Yesterday we hung out in South Haven, MI. In our opinion it is nicer than Benton Harbor. Apparently we missed Saint Joseph. South Haven or So Ha is a nice little town on Lake Michigan. We parked down by the Marina on Maple St. It was free parking with no time limit. It was also in a good spot to check out the main area of town and walk out to the lighthouse. Nice and centrally located.
We visited the Olive and Vinegar store, a few other small shops and 12 Corners Winery for a tasting. We bought some oil and a strawberry white balsamic from the olive store and enjoyed our tastings at the winery.
We walked out on the south pier to the lighthouse and the beach was pretty busy. After our time in So Ha, we headed back to the campground. We played a total of ten games of Yahtzee and cribbage. I won the first 8 games, but Katy hung in there and came back to win the last two games of cribbage. Our rate of return on the MI lotto is $8/$10.
Today was a north bound travel day.
