It’s been a while

It’s hard keeping track of what we’ve been doing when I don’t post regularly.  That’ll be back soon.  Hard to believe the last post was Sunday morning.  That was a great morning and we followed it by an afternoon bike ride.  Speaking of bike rides, I’m at 135 miles since we got here and Katy is at about 160.

We’ve been cooking out quite a bit and maybe going out every once in a while.  We’ve made Pasty’s in the oven and cooked a Dina Mia pizza.  First pizza in the Emeril and it turned out great.  We had tacos at Dia de los Tacos and some beers at Drifa Brewing.

Wednesday we got up really early and had to bring the trailer to Camping World.  We left in in the Shopko lot as CW was not open yet and we had dentist appointments in Marquette we had to get back for.  We did the dentist thing (cleaning) which was great, it’s been a while.  The actual dentist did my cleaning.  We walked a bit and then did a driving tour.  We stopped at Drifa and Jilberts Dairy.

We were able to pick up the trailer at about 4:30.  The black tank flush was fixed, but the fan did not act up the entire day. Of course it worked fine.

Yesterday we ran a few errands and then did a 24 mile bike ride.  We checked out Rippling River Campground which would also be a nice option around MQT.  Today we worked around the camper in the morning.  I made a fishing pole storage tube from PVC and then worked on the shower drain which had a bit of a leak.  I think it’s fixed now (fingers crossed) we’ll see tonight.

We also did 5 loads of laundry.  It’s a laundry day, laundry day, laundry day.  You should sing that to the tune of “Lovely Day”.  You’re welcome.  We are now back at the rig with the laundry put away and it’s been pouring rain for the last 1.5 hours.  Only the third time it’s rained in over a month.  Game Night.  Soon, I will be back to my regularly scheduled programming.
