New Hampshire, 24 States
Wednesday we drove from north of Stowe Vermont to Bartlett, New Hampshire. It was a nice drive and too about an hour and 45 minutes. We got into our State Park which is in a beautiful rock canyon in the White Mountains.
It was a little tricky backing in with the trees and branches but we eventually got it. We also had to use 4 blocks on the drivers side to level out. That’s a first. After setting up we took a quick walk and met our neighbors. They are from Indiana and will be at Moorings in Maine when we get there.
We then loaded up the kids and took a drive south in the rain. We picked up a few things at the store and then drove back north up through the “notch” on 302. We decided to stop at the Mount Washington Hotel to check it out. We toured the main floor and basement and also used a little free WiFi. We were going to have a snack and drink at the bar, but things seemed a little spendy.
We came back to the rig and hung out, made dinner and watched a pre downloaded movie as there is no service at the campground.
I forgot to mention, we saw a naked person standing on a rock in the middle of a river on Tuesday. Caught me be surprise in that setting.
