Jersey Shore

Yesterday we took a ride over to Atlantic City.  Other than the Bass Pro Shop, we didn’t care for it.  Katy stayed with the car and I went the 3 blocks to the boardwalk.  It was pretty quiet and it is probably better in the summer.  I took a few pics and headed back to the truck.

We then drove south to Ocean City Beach.  OC is a bit nicer and there was a ton of parking right near the boardwalk in residential areas.  There are a ton of rental homes by the water, I imagine people make some cash from spring break to October.

The boardwalk was quiet and we walked about a 1/2 mile south.  90% of the shops were closed, but we found some pizza.  On the way back, we saw some dolphins.  They were swimming north at the rate we were walking.  We ended up taking a different route back and stopped at Balic Winery.  They have free tastings and we ended up leaving with two bottles.  We also hit up Walmart in our travels and picked up two jugs of DEF.

We had some new neighbors when we got back.  They are from Washington and there is a rig from California here.  We have the whole west coast represented.  The Washington folks broke a leaf spring on their 5th wheel.  Our host is super helpful and is bringing them to several shops today to get it fixed.  I also messed around with my phone camera to try and get pics of the moon.  I think they turned out pretty cool.

We are headed into Philly today so I took the kayaks off to help with clearance.  We’ll see how it goes.
