The Garden State #29

Yesterday we traveled west through Tarrytown and across the Mario Cuomo bridge.  We then headed south on the Garden State Parkway into our 29th state for this trip.  The Parkway took us around NYC and had a few tolls.  The tolls tallied $27.90 and our host told us we’d also have to pay to leave the state.  It went from $1.90 for a vehicle to 7.60 for the truck and trailer.  The toll on 95 was $12.70.

Our host location is situated in southern Jersey near Newtonville.  We are parked along a row of International Tractor Trailer’s.  It’s like an International Harvester museum.

After leveling out, we headed to Bellview Winery and did a tasting.  It was fun, we haven’t been to a winery in a while.  The wines were good and we did a Halloween tasting with candy.  They were surprisingly good pairings.  We ended up leaving with a few bottles.

We came back and started dinner.  I took a quick drive to a dollar general that didn’t actually exist to pick up some rice.  Epic fail.  We watched some shows on YouTube and then called it a night.
