Settling In

We spent the past few days checking our new area out.  We’ve been down to Crystal River a few times, over to Dunnellon and checked out Inglis.  We took a 13 mile bike ride right from the park out to the Gulf.  It’s a great trail system and there were quite a few people using it for biking, walking and fishing along the canal.

We have a storage shed on our lot and we’re able to take a bunch of stuff off of and out of the truck.  Lola is difficult to find in a parking lot without the two orange boats on her.  We have great neighbors, Bear and Caroline who are from North Carolina.  Cookie lives across the street and had already offered us the use of her golf cart.  Everyone is really friendly and welcoming.  The park is really well kept and the staff are nice too.

We’ve got a few more days of cleaning the rigs and landscaping at our site before we are totally settled in.  I also need to go and donate blood.  We are also on the hunt for jobs.  Stay tuned for what we end up doing and we’ll have a re-cap of the highlights of our long road trip soon.
