Exit, Stage Left

Exit, Stage Left.  Well, things are changing for us again.  Our job hunt in Crystal River didn’t go as planned.  The jobs we really wanted never materialized.  As I said before, maybe honesty was not the best policy.

We put in our notice to leave the park and we’ve opened our Work Kamper profile again.  We’ve got a few decent leads and have a call this afternoon with a location to the west.  This week has been pretty uneventful.  Lots of bike riding and a little exploring.  We went to Ozello and Ocala and checked them out.  Ozello is a cute little town to the south, out on the gulf.

My right elbow has been bothering me for months but I’ve continued with my KB swings.  Katy told me and I new I should’ve stopped yet I continued on.  I’ve had recurring tennis elbow for years but ART has helped in the past.  I found a chiropractor in town, Heath Chiropractic, that does ART and Graston so I made an appointment.  The ART treatment caused me to sweat it hurt so bad, but things are feeling better.  No KB swings for the past few days which I’m bummed about, but I want my arm to get better.  Fingers crossed on that.

Yesterday we went to Blackwater Grill for a late lunch.  They have 1/2 price apps on Thursdays.  The food was ok and the drinks were good but it was way too expensive for what we received.  We wouldn’t go back.  While we were there, two ladies who hadn’t seen each other in years ran into each other.  They were standing behind Katy and talking.  One of them told the other, I just got my second knee replacement.  “I have a new knee and a new husband.  He’s younger than me and he’s got a lot of money.”  It was a funny exchange.  The husband was clearly embarrassed.  He had a small grin and a red face.

Our neighbors had “us kids” over for drinks last night.  We met some new people in the park and had a good time.  One of the couples has a son who got engaged on South Sister and we exchanged some photos of the 3 Sisters.

We have also been in our trailer for a year as of 12/1.  It’s amazing how fast time goes by.
