Go North
Yesterday we hung out at the park until about 12:30. We walked the dogs for a few laps and headed back to the beach. We stopped in the fishing museum which was pretty cool. They have a ton of vintage lures, rods and reels. They also had Barracuda Jigs. I used those jigging for lake trout as a kid.
There were a ton of birds on the beach and a few passing storms. It was a pretty walk. The salt water also helped my No see um bites. As we were packing up, we met Greg and Tammy (@chasingthecashes). We had a great chat before heading out.
We drove up the A1A all the way to Titusville. We went past the Space Force Base, through Cocoa Beach and past Kennedy Space Center. It was weird seeing the building that used to house the space shuttle. I saw it a lot closer on my senior trip in 1999.
We got to our parking spot in Titusville and set up. There were no bugs (yeah) so we could open the windows. We walked the kids again and stopped at Playalinda Brewery. We sat outside and enjoyed a few beverages. After getting back to the rig we started watching our weekly YouTube crew and relaxed. On a side note, this Harvest Host location was not a quiet stay. Horrible night of sleep.
