Working forThe Weekend

This weekend or I should say the past 4-5 days have been pretty busy.  We’ve been preparing to get back on the road.  The truck has been washed, roof racks back on and fluids checked.  The trailer has been washed and waxed and is looking good.  We’re doing a bit of interior and storage compartment reorganizing too.

It hasn’t all been work though.  I’ve been to ART therapy twice for my elbow and wearing some KT tape.  It seems to be helping so far.  It’s a bummer to find a great chiropractor and leave during treatment.  We’ve gone on a lot of bike rides, 95 miles in 7 days.  We’ve done two sunset rides to the gulf.  Saturday was amazing and the light breeze kept the bugs down.  We also saw a large gator in the river.  Last night the color faded fast and the bugs were really bad.  We didn’t stay long.  I also ran over a snake on the way back.  Not sure what kind as my light was dying and I really didn’t want to go back for a closer look.

We also did a paddle in town yesterday.  We left from Hunter Springs and it was the busiest we’ve ever seen it.  Jurassic and House Springs were open so we got to check them out.  Three Springs was open to swimming, but no boards or kayaks.  We saw a ton of fish and quite a few Manatees.  It was a nice day on the water.

After our ride last night, we came back and watched KYD, LJMJ, K&N, FOS and TR.
