6 weeks in MT
It’s hard to believe we have been here almost 6 weeks. Time flies when you’re in a cool place and having fun. We’ve been working quite a bit and exploring a bit here and there.
We haven’t got out too far in the past month, some bike rides on the trails near town. We did make our way up to Lake Mary Ronan. It is a cool area with a few small resorts. They were not up to their high season schedule so we will have to go back. Camp Tuffit was open and we hung out there for quite a bit.
The camp was started as a family fishing camp in 1917 and has spanned 5 generations. They have several spots to hang out and have a beer and a restaurant open 7 days a week. We had a few cans of adult beverages and enjoyed the view of the lake. They also had some great Huckleberry ice cream.
I had the truck up to Kalispell for a front end wobble, apparently it’s a recall issue and Ford is going to take care of it. It’s not too serious yet, but the front end shimmy’s if you hit a bump just right above 45. I also made a Cabelas and Costco stop while I was up there. Kalispell brewing and Tamarack were also quick stops along the route.
There’s probably a few things I’m leaving out as it’s been three is weeks since I’ve posted, but oh well. On a side note, this area has quickly moved to the top of our list on places to settle down. It has the best of both worlds, a giant beautiful lake and mountains. I do think we may be back in Florida for a winter though.
