160 SQ FT

Since we’ve been on the road we’ve been hearing the same question or statement.  These three things have popped up even more in the past two weeks.  How can you live in something so small?  You two must really love each other.  I/we could never do what you two are doing.

Living in something this small really simplifies things.  We don’t spend 24/7 in the rig.  Yes, we do love each other.  This experience has made our bond tighter.  Yes, you can live small if you are willing to take the leap.  At this point we value experiences over what we used to own.

On to what we’ve been up to.  We of course have been working the past few weeks.  Katy has been working outside a bit and has been enjoying that.  We had a few days of rain and some cooler weather so that has been nice.  We visited the Garden of 1000 Buddhas and that was pretty cool.  It is kind of random that it is in a valley in NW Montana.

I ordered and received my new iRocker SUP and am looking forward to getting out on the water.  We found a great spot to fish on the Swan River near Big Fork and I finally landed some fish on the fly.  I missed some nice ones and had one break off.  I think it was a nice Brown, it looked pretty good in color.

We also attended an end of summer fundraiser put on by the local Kiwanis.  For $30 there was food, beer and wine.  We bought 5 raffle tickets for $20 and won a prize basket.  I didn’t take pics of the basket, but I did note the prize list.  We have friends coming into town today and we are looking forward to hanging out with them for a few days.
